Stephanie Brazil

Executive Director

Stephanie has been with the Boys & Girls Club movement for over 21 years as an Executive Director and National Training Assoicate. She has served as the camp's chief executive officer for the last five years
Stephanie loves the outdoors and walking her two dogs Milie and Lou as well as reading and travel. She has two grown children Chryssa and Michael. |

Andrea Garcia

Office Manager
| Andrea considers herself a renaissance woman and brings to Pathfinder a wide range of experience. A graduate of CSU San Marcus, she has worked extensively in an administrative capacity and has taught in a private school, as well as substitute teaching for the Temecula and Hemet School Districts.
Although born and raised in New York City, Andrea felt a kinship with the west and moved to southern California a number of years ago. She enjoys her grandchildren, an assortment of pets, music, writing and crafts.

Mick Bolander

Retreat Director/Wrangler

Mick Bolander has been Retreat Director and Wrangler for Pathfinder Ranch
since 1998. He was born in South Dakota, graduated from Long Beach State,
and has been living in Garner Valley since 1988.
He finds satisfaction in serving
Pathfinder's guests and campers, hoping to make their retreat or conference
as enjoyable as possible. He enjoys the outdoors, fishing, and riding,
either horses or motorcycles.

Nick Zielinski

Program Director

Nick was born in Michigan, but his faimly soon settled in Dayton, Ohio.
"Having a bad case of wanderlust, I moved to Prescott, Arizona, where I completed my undergraduate studies," he says.
Spending most of his time in the Great Lakes region and southwest, he developed a rather conflicted set of hobbies. "When I'm not at Pathfinder Ranch, I'm likely found surfing, paddling, hiking, playing hockey, or hanging out with my dog, Daton." |

Deanna Erickson

Outdoor Education Director

Deanna’s love of outdoor education and general wanderlust have led her all over the place, and eventually to Southern California, which she never expected to like as much as she does. Wide open spaces of all kinds call to her, and she is thus drawn to the desert and the ocean. Deanna has worked for Audubon, the YMCA, the Nature Conservancy, Student Conservation Association and the Whale Camp. She has a degree in Environmental Education. |

Stewart Jewell

Maintenance Director

Stewart has been the maintenance director at the Ranch for seven years.
"I have met many wonderful people here and enjoy working and hearing kids laughing," he says. "I feel very fortunate to work with a staff that is so team oriented and friendly." |

Rena Payan

Medical Director
|
Rena believes her life experiences can not be summed up in a few sentences. However, she will tell that although she has been with Pathfinder many years, and occasionally leaves to try other adventures (in the wilds of Alaska or Hawaii, for example), she finds the people at Pathfinder Ranch as well as the experiences that they give children can not be matched, and that makes her proud to be part of such a wonderful staff. Rena is a nationally certified EMT. |

Kate Moran

Assistant Medic and Wrangler |
After finishing college, Kate could finally relieve her restless soul by moving west to California, leaving Detroit in her trails of dust. She has a severe obsession with horses, mountains and bodies of water, and has thus settled quite nicely at Pathfinder Ranch. She is now the Assistant Medical Director and Horse Wrangler. Her favorite foods include cheese, bread, butter and chocolate. She is an adrenaline junkie who has done everything from bungy jumping and skydiving in New Zealand to snorkeling the reefs of Fiji. |
